DETOX FLOW® YOGA: Purification for Optimal Health and Wellness

Each day we are exposed to toxins that affect our energy, health and vitality. Many of our ailments and diseases today, including fatigue, weight gain, high blood pressure and depression can be attributed to a poor diet, environmental stressors, lack of exercise as well as repressed emotions. In this workshop, we will explore how we can improve our physical heath, increase our vitality, decrease our susceptibility to illness and disease, balance our emotions and develop practical tools for managing stress.
  • Explore how making conscious and responsible choices- in all aspects of our lives- can help purify our body/mind.
  • Discuss the importance of proper nutrition, conscious consumerism and sustainability
  • Learn practical tools to identify toxins in your home, office and environment.
  • Understand the connection to the mind/body and how purification of thought and emotion is an essential aspect of gaining optimal health.
  • Practice 2 specific yoga sequences that will stimulate the productivity of the vital organs to create an environment for toxic release. These creative yoga sequences utilize three internal components for cleansing-abdominal compression, decompression and twists. These classes will include Sun Salutations A and B, detox standing sequences, inverted poses, breathing exercises and restoratives. This intensive is designed to assist us in examining our habits, encourage proactive involvement with personal health though choice and self-responsibility, and help provide suggestions on how to choose what is best for our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.*This workshop is intended for all levels, but will include challenging and advanced poses and sequences; experience with sun salute A and B is necessary. Beginners are encouraged to come and modify/simplify the practice. Also, it this workshop is intended to be taken as a whole. "To truly understand what it is to be in the light, you have to also understand what it is to be in the shadow. Because it is one thing to hold the light within myself, but how can I hold the space for another being when they are in their shadow and still love them? And not judge them? I am only going to judge them if I am still judging me."- Seane Corn
Thank you for your continued support.
